About me

Hey, there. I joined Genentech Research and Early Development as AI Scientist. I obtained my Ph.D degree from Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University in 2022. I received B.S in Biology from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2016.

My research lies in the intersection of machine learning and Computational Biology, with specific focus on

• Knowledge generalization and representation (NeurIPS, CIKM, AAAI).
• Modeling and analysis of Biological data (NAR, JCI, Bioinformatics).

Recent News

• Selected as top 10% reviewer for both ICML 2022 and NeurIPS 2022.

• Our Bias aware Boolean matrix factorization method was accepted at UAI 2022.

• Our MAL2 paper has been accapted by Journal of Clinical Investigation and featured as cover story for the January Issue.
